Something Becomes Nothing

(not only a great Golden Palominos song, but reminiscent of a very funny sketch by Heywood Banks with cards reading “something” and “nothing”)

Okay, I gave in this weekend. I turned this collection of two useless, stalled WIPs:

yarn

into this HUGE ball of yarn. It’s triple stranded grey yarns: Caron Simply Soft, Crystal Palace Wakiki and Cascade Pima Silk.

ball

I was thinking about making a grey version of my black shawl that I wear often:

shawl

but right now it’s just sitting around waiting for a cat to come and play 😉

    That is a great song!

Heh, May would SO eat that ball of yarn… and then have to go to the vet.

Uh, wow… At first, I thought you’d photoshopped the color out of that first picture, but no… that’s what it actually looks like, huh?
You won’t have to wait long for the cat to show up, I don’t think. Cat toy!

scary, isn’t it? Grey yarn on a black couch.

We do have a nice neighbor cat who likes to visit, so maybe she can play with it!

Yay for frogging and repurposing yarn! Life’s too short.
