Okay, no “math is hard” comments — I freely admit I didn’t bother to look further with the yarn requirements for Blackberry before deciding to do it with my Noro Kabuto. Today I realized that I have 7 skeins and I probably need 12 total! And I have no clue where to get any Noro Kabuto #20 online at least. So as far as I can tell it’s knit back, 2 fronts and 2 sleeves, then sew up and add ribbing so I’m thinking of finding a similar yarn and doing the sleeves and ribbing in a different yarn and/or color. The Noro Kabuto I have is green with green so either dark green or black would work.

So back to reading my ethics article (I have to present an article on children’s television advertising ethics on Tuesday) and knitting reverse stockinette (a pretty perfect combination) for my Blackberry. Pics tomorrow, I hope.

Also, I’m joining Socktoberfest! Obviously I have at least 9 balls of sock yarn burning a hole in my closet and I’m getting cold feet lately!

have you tried over here for your noro

Anyway, I did not have that many problems with the cotton. it only tangled on the part that i frogged. I ended up using little over about 3.5 balls.

good luck with the blackberr. it looks really cool.

I did, thanks. That’s a different color green, but I just may get some if I can’t find another match.
