Anything to delay reading 2 chapters on media ethics.

I did get some knitting done today, while watching my absolute favorite show in years, “Grey’s Anatomy”. I find the main woman a bit weird, but the characters and writing are amazing. They really matured the George character this week too. Can you believe they just put this in last year as a “place holder” for “Boston Legal”? I watch it, but boy does it suck!

So since I knew I couldn’t pay attention to my knitting while “Grey’s Anatomy” was on, I did some work on my Tivoli. I am almost to the waist increases, which means almost done! It will be so nice to be done with one project. Later this week, I think, which means I had to —

Cast on for another project of course! I don’t want to weigh my Tivoli down so I can’t knit it in certain situations, so I decided to do a swatch for my Cascade Quatro that I got from Little Knits and it turns out to be a pretty good match for Jenna Adorno’s Hopeful pattern. Now if I can only figure out how to get it to look like the person who started the KAL’s. She says the original pattern had the v-neck starting early, which was what made me like the pattern. Now as I’ve mentioned, I am not tall (that’s all you’re officially getting out of me) and we all know Jenna Adorno designs for “petite” women, but God, I have to make the “large” size because she has an XS size. Way to make me feel like a cow. Hell, I had three kids!

Anyway, that leaves me this list of projects on the needles, in order of beginning:

IM’s blanket — he’ll give it to his kids
A Good Bias — will I just give up on this one?
Katrina Rib
Raglan Tansy Tee
Tivoli — I’m almost done, almost …
Silk Corset 2

Now look into your own closets, be honest, and tell me you don’t have that many UFOs yourself 😉

On the Hopeful pattern, that V-neck even with the correction is pretty low. I’ve got to wear something under it to cover up a bit. Some people tacked it at the bottom for more coverage.

Thanks for the heads up! I expected to wear something under Hopeful, but now I don’t have to worry as much about starting the decreases early.
