Supplies:
KnitPicks Wool of the Andes ½ skein
Size 8 (U.S.) needles
Tapestry needle

Finished size 8” x 4” including scalloped edge
Gauge 20 sts x 20 rows = 4” in pattern

Bag:

CO 38 sts

K 4 rows

Pattern rows:

Row 1: K2 *k2tog k2tog k2tog [yo k1] x5 yo k2tog k2 tog k2tog rep from * k2
Row 2: k2 P to last 2 sts, K2

Repeat pattern once

Eyelet row:

K 4 rows

K1, (YO, K2tog) 18 times, YO, K1

K 3 rows

Repeat pattern rows 10 times.

Repeat eyelet pattern

Fold over, right sides on the inside and sew up bottom and side.

Tie:

There are many ways you can lace up this bag. You need to make a 12” tie and then weave the tie through the eyelet row. I chose to create a crochet chain, but you could braid some yarn, use ribbon, create an iCord, the possibilities are endless.

Finishing:

Fill with decorative soap, a bag of potpourri, or a small gift.
